Dopo un confronto con manifestazioni all’epoca ritenute non conformiste, si ipotizza qui un’affinità col ‘Cattolicesimo inquieto’ di certe frange degli Umiliati, non sempre lontane da una sensibilità religiosa e morale condivisa anche da un movimento eretico come quello cataro. This contribution highlights some aspects of the religiosity and morality of Filippo da Novara (XIII century). Following a comparison of attitudes considered non-conformist at the time, an affinity is hypothesized here with the ‘uneasy Catholicism’ of certain fringes of the Humiliati, fringes apparently not always far from a religious and moral sensibility also shared by the Cathar heretical movement.
