2) Holothuria (cetriolo di mare), con pedicelli dorsali trasformati in papille. 
3) Benthodytes, organismo bentonico fortemente depresso, in visione dorsale e ventrale. Simmetria bilaterale accentuata.
4) Cucumaria incurvata, sinonimo di Leptopenctata tergestina. 
5 e 5‘) Ypsilothuria, forma abissale, in cui l‘estremità buccale è spostata in vicinanza dell‘estremità posteriore anale, per lo straordinario accorciamento del ciclomero dorsale. 
7) Pelagothuria, specie oceanica pelagica, con lunghe braccia riunite alla base da una membrana.

4) Cucumaria incurvata, synonymous of Leptopenctata tergestina. 
5 e 5‘) Ypsilothuria, a deep-sea form; oral portion moved near the anal posterior portion, owing to the extraordinary shortening of the dorsal cyclomer. 
7) Pelagothuria, an oceanic pelagic species, with long arms connected to the base with a membrane.</ns1:description>
